This platform is operated by ISACA South Africa Chapter to facilitate the nomination and election of chapter leadership. It is developed and maintained by IATFusion.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to run a secure election process:

• Membership number — to verify your identity as an ISACA member.
• Name and email address — for communication and verification purposes.
• Phone number — if you choose SMS-based identity verification.
• Photo — uploaded voluntarily as part of candidate registration.
• Votes and nominations — recorded to ensure one vote per member per position.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity via one-time passwords (OTP) sent by email or SMS.
• To record and tally votes in the chapter election.
• To display candidate profiles to eligible voters.

4. Data Security

All communication with this platform is encrypted using HTTPS. Verification codes are hashed before storage and expire after 5 minutes. We do not store passwords.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is only accessible to authorised ISACA chapter administrators for election management.

6. Data Retention

Election data is retained for the duration of the election cycle and for audit purposes thereafter, in accordance with ISACA governance requirements.

7. Your Rights

You may contact the ISACA South Africa Chapter administrator to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements.
